Under the aegis of Arya Pradesilk Pratinidhi Upsabha , Haryana, DAV Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad and Arya Samaj Sector 37, Faridabad celebrated Swami Shradhana Balidan Diwas on 21st Dec,07. On this occasion DAV Public school, Sector 37, Faridabad in conjunction with Rotary Club of Faridabad Industrial Town and Haryana Progressive Schools Conference organized Blood Donation Camp, which was a great success as good no. of volunteers – teachers of the host school, parents and employees of Vipul Motors came forward for the noble cause and in all 40 units of blood was donated. |

Under the able guidance of the Principal Mrs. Neelam Gandhi, the students were filled with great gusto and zeal as various programmes were organized to mark it a grand day.
The programme started with Hawan in the school Yagyashala after which flag hoisting of the ‘Om Flag’ was done by the chief Guest Shri. Harvanshlal Kapoor, the Joint Secretary, Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha, Delhi along with the esteemed dignitaries from the DAV fraternity and Arya Samaj Committee. To boost the moral and support the Arya Samaj movement, the Principals, teachers and students of various schools of Faridabad participated in Shbha Yatra.
Vision of Swami Shradhanand was illustrated through the tableaus – Hawans, Life of Swami Dayanand, the massacre of Chandni Chowk, sensitive issues of today as female foeticide and Girl Child education. These messages were spread around the community to awaken and sensitize today’s generation.
The students and teachers of the host school carried the banners with slogans of the importance of girl child education, values of Vedas, unity in diversity etc.
Rotary club of Faridabad Industrial Town and HPSC appreciated the efforts of the school and presented Rs. 20,000/- to the physically challenged student of class XI Uttam Kumar who is also a meritorious student, for the automatic wheel chair.
The day came to a successful end with the ‘Rishi Langar’.
