DAV remembers the great reformer and patriot Shri. Swami Shradhanand and on the occasion of his Balidan Diwas on 19th Dec,09. The school organized 51 kundiya Mahayagya in its premises. The dawn of the daythe Brahma Swami Divyanand ji lighted the lamp of yagya with the chants from ved. The young Aryans , arya families & many students from near by school participated in Mahayagya with great zeal. The Chief Guest, Choudhary Mahendra Pratap Singh hosted the Arya Samaj Flag accompanied by Principal Neelam Gandhi, Regional Director K. L. Khurana, Secretary, DAV CMC, Shri. Ram Nath Sehgal, Acharya Aman Singh Shastri, Principal S. S. Choudhary, Principal V. K. Chopra ji, Principal Smt. Reena Nagrath, Shri. M. K. Singh, Director, Lala Diwan Chand Trust, Dr. M. P. Singh from Red Cross Society, Shri. K. K. Bhaskar, Shri. Ashok Sethi and Shri. Vishwa Bandhu Mahindra.

On this auspicious occasion Shri. Ram Nath Sehgal was full of exuberance and congratulated Principal Neelam Gandhi for reaching out to the common masses and spreading the teachings of the great martyrs. Even the cabinet minister Shri. Mahender Pratap Singh reiterated the aim of Arya Samaj is to eradicate the superstition and ignorance from the society and work towards the welfare of the mankind. He donated a sum of Rs. 51000/- to Arya Samaj DAV Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad.

Chief Speaker Mahesh Ved Alankar enlightened the masses about the role of swami Sharadhanand’s preaching in our lives. Poet Dharmesh also initiated his magical words towards such programmes.
